Three Products from Kobe Distillery Win Awards at Spirits Selection by CMB 2025
Kobe Distillery, is proud to announce that its collaborative product “PURE MALT WHISKY - Nozomi -”, created in partnership with the internationally renowned pop art brand tokidoki and its Italian artist Simone Legno, has won a Gold Medal at the Spirits Selection by CMB 2025.
“PURE MALT WHISKY - Nozomi -” is a premium whisky crafted by further maturing carefully selected malt whiskies in Mizunara oak casks. The product features an exclusive package design by Simone Legno.
This whisky is made using malt spirits aged for over three years, originally from Scotland. It is then transferred to medium-char Mizunara casks for an additional 17 months of maturation in Kobe’s unique climate. For dilution, the whisky is blended with soft water sourced from the Meisui Kaido (Famous Water Road) in Kanzaki Town, Hyogo Prefecture, resulting in a rich and aromatic whisky that is also remarkably smooth and easy to drink.
