After the official unveiling of the project last July in Milan, the boat is now ready to be presented to the public from Sept. 18 to 23 at the renowned Genoa International Boat Show.
Following the strong interest from the industry, G-Tender, brand of the Sardinian shipyard Tender One and official licensee of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, is set to present the first prototype of the Goodyear Carbon 35 to the public during the Genoa International Boat Show.
Announced last July in Milan, this vessel marks the Goodyear brand’s entry into the leisure boating sector with the creation of a luxury RIB that perfectly embodies quality, innovation, design, technology and Italian craftsmanship, thanks to high-level technical collaborations.
As the first model of a range (that spans 10 to 16 meters) the Goodyear Carbon 35 that will be shown in Genoa Boat Show has the following characteristics:
Is distributed by C2C Nautica and designed by architect Marco Ciampa
Has an overall length of 10.60 meters
Is certified to carry up to 24 people
Is powered by two Yamaha 450 XTO outboard engines, featuring Yamaha’s exclusive Helm Master EX wireless control system (a European premiere).
Has a sports structure with integrated carbon T-Top with colored weave (an exclusive innovation)
Features a carbon-fiber upholstery for helm seating (a patented product).
The Genoa International Boat Show will offer a unique opportunity to discover every detail of a vessel born from the partnership of leading industry players: Yamaha for the propulsion system, synonymous with reliability, sportiness and cutting-edge innovation worldwide; Atelier Zanasi for premium handcrafted upholstery; and Evolution Tech Lab for advanced carbon fiber materials. At the Genoa Boat Show, Rossi of Albizzate serves as the technical partner for the launch of the vessel, featuring the “Supersassi” sofa designed by Matteo Thun.
“After unveiling the project in July, we are proud to officially present the first prototype of the Carbon 35. Bringing it from paper to sea has been an intense journey, but today we can finally share with the public not just a vision, but a true vessel ready to be experienced,” said Davide Gessa, founder of G-Tender.
The boat will be showcased at stand H, H305, where sea trials will be available by invitation from Sept. 18 to 22, between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
