Bremont's 3 New Military Collaboration Watches Are Its Best‑Looking to Date (and Very Limited Edition)

The British watchmaker is celebrating its partnership with His Majesty's Armed Forces

By Josh Osman

Since its founding in 2002, British watchmaker Bremont has built a strong reputation and brand identity for its functional, rugged tool watches, often pilot's watches or other military-inspired tool watches. Now, to celebrate the brand's partnership with His Majesty's Armed Forces, it has launched the HMAF Collection: a set of three new limited-edition watches each inspired by a different division.

The first is the Bremont HMAF Terra Nova 40.5 Date, a 40.5mm watch that blends a vintage military design (including an Army heraldic badge) with modern functionality. Its caramel gradient California dial, block numerals and nubuck leather strap give it an old-school look, while an oversized crown for ease of use and luminated indices mean that its practicality never falls to the back burner.

Taking inspiration from the Royal Navy, featuring its heraldic badge, the Bremont HMAF Supermarine 40 Date has an incredibly sleek monochrome matte design inspired by the colours of navy vessels, with a light grey gradient dial, a matte grey case and ceramic bezel and nubuck leather strap. On the technical side, it has an automatic movement with a 56-hour reserve and 300 metres of water resistance, giving it a durability primed for maritime use.

The third and final, paying tribute to the Royal Air Force, might be the most brilliant-looking of the three. The Bremont HMAF Altitude 39 Date. It draws upon Bremont's own heritage with pilot's watches and features the RAF heraldic badge prominently. Sitting in a 39mm stainless steel case coated with bronze, it also features a black dial with beige details for a minimal, classic pilot's tool watch style.
