Rovio partners with the educational platform to bring "Angry Birds" to gamified learning.
SKIDO Has announced its collaboration with Rovio the creators of the mobile game, “Angry Birds,” to introduce a series of educational mini-games featuring the Angry Birds characters. In a deal brokered by IMG Licensing, the collaboration aims to combine entertainment with learning for children ages 4-7.
The “Angry Birds”-themed learning games blend interactive educational modules focusing on emotional well-being, creativity and basic math skills. Through the familiar “Angry Birds” characters and an immersive game-based format, children will explore emotions like anger, sadness, surprise, happiness and fear, while engaging in activities such as aligning catapults, entering numbers and solving quizzes.
Prioritizing inclusivity, the games are thoughtfully tailored for neurodiverse learners, including those with ADHD, ASD, dyslexia and other learning differences, with features like voice-over assistance, simplified navigation and sensory-friendly design to ensure accessibility for children with varying needs.
The “Angry Birds”-themed educational games are scheduled to launch in August, with early access options to be announced soon.
