WWE is set to host a comedy event during WrestleMania weekend that will be headlined by Tony Hinchcliffe.
“The Roast of WrestleMania Featuring Tony Hinchcliffe & Friends” will take place at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas in the BleauLive Theater on Sunday, April 20 at 10pm P.T. as part of WWE’s WrestleMania 41 weekend.
Hinchcliffe, known for his stand up and the “Kill Tony” live weekly podcast, will be joined by other comedians and celebrities as well as WWE stars like Sami Zayn, The Miz, Braun Strowman, WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman, and more. The event will not be televised, but presale tickets will be available via Ticketmaster starring March 19 at 11amET/8amPT, followed by the general public on-sale on Friday, March 21 at 11amET/8amPT. The event will also be available through On Location, the official fan hospitality partner of WWE.
This is the latest big news for Hinchcliffe, who is a well known pro wrestling fan. It was announced last week that Netflix has ordered three “Kill Tony” specials as well as a new stand up special from Hinchcliffe himself.
WrestleMania 41 will take place at the Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20. Cody Rhodes is expected to face John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship at the premium live event, with other matches on the card including Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte Flair, Gunther vs. Jey Uso, and Iyo Sky vs. Bianca Belair.
As previously announced, Fontainebleau Las Vegas will host the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony. WWE will also bring “SmackDown,” “Raw,” and “NXT Stand & Deliver” to T-Mobile Arena, and WWE World, a five-day interactive fan event in partnership with Fanatics, to the Las Vegas Convention Center.
