The campaign celebrates the brand's 85th anniversary and features seven U.S. military veterans driving Jeep vehicles alongside the Wrangler America250 edition with Captain America branding.
Jeep and Marvel have launched the Summer of Jeep campaign, "The Original Superheroes," marking the next phase of their collaboration that pairs the automaker's 85-year history with Marvel's Captain America character.
The campaign centers on the Jeep Wrangler A250 edition being airdropped from a military cargo plane, referencing the Willys MB deployments of World War II. Seven U.S. military veterans, all former captains across land, air and sea, drive Jeep vehicles including the Grand Cherokee, Cherokee, Gladiator, Grand Wagoneer and Compass. Two additional veterans who served in other ranks appear as pilots in the cargo plane.
The veterans featured in the campaign served between three and 24 years and are no longer on active duty. All were honorably discharged. A military consultant was on set during filming to ensure authenticity.
