The spirits maker's first release in the franchise-inspired collection is a 7-year-old bourbon distilled by Bardstown Bourbon Company.
Barrel Global, a U.S.-based barrel ownership platform, has introduced an officially licensed Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey inspired by the "John Wick" franchise. A collection of additional spirits is planned to follow.
Through an agreement facilitated by IMG Licensing, Barrel Global has secured rights to manage the production and distribution of "John Wick"-inspired spirits in markets across Asia, Europe and South America.
The first release is a 7-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 45% alcohol by volume. The whiskey is distilled by Bardstown Bourbon Company, a custom distiller based in Kentucky.
The spirit is finished in cherry and sherry wood. According to Barrel Global, the cherry wood and the cherry blossoms featured in the label design reference a scene set on the rooftop of The Continental Hotel in Osaka in the fourth "John Wick" film, while the sherry wood references scenes set in Paris and Rome.
The label depicts cherry blossoms falling around glass shattered by a gunshot, a reference to John Wick's mission to find peace through violence. The neck label uses a font styled after the one used to send bounties to assassins in the films.

"John Wick" is one of the highest-grossing franchises in Lionsgate's portfolio. In addition to four films, the franchise includes the television series "The Continental" and an upcoming film starring Donnie Yen as Caine, which has wrapped production.
The "John Wick" whiskey is available to pre-order starting Nov. 3.
